Do well in 'developing UK tourist destinations'

AC 3.1

Introduction

The Cardiff Bay project has been one of the most successful tourism development projects in the UK, transforming a run-down area of dockland into a fabulous area with a range of tourist attractions.

The project has been successful partly because of the range of tourism organisations which have been involved in the development of the area.  These include accommodation providers, transport organisations, tourist boards and local councils to name but a few.

This section is about the range of organisations involved in tourism development and their different roles.
